Amateur Radio is a hobby that involves using designated radio frequencies for non-commercial communications and experimentation by licensed individuals. We are more than just a place to learn about Radio. We are a community learning together and enjoying the journey.
What you can expect from our Amateur Radio Society:
- A safe and friendly environment to learn a technical hobby
- Regular Field Days and Events to operate radios
- Regular radio-related excursions
- Projects and events to get you building antennas and other radio-related essentials
- On-air activity that gets everyone involved
- Support towards studying for and taking examinations for your Amateur Radio licence.
